Aghati VISA

Aghati Visa is a prepaid card issued through the Switch app, operating on the global Visa network. It can be used for shopping in stores and online wherever Visa is accepted, both within and outside Iraq. Users can preload funds onto the card and use it for purchases or withdraw cash from ATMs across Iraq. The card provides enhanced security and ease of tracking expenses, making it an excellent choice for individuals seeking control over their spending.

Card Services

Aghati Visa Card is your ideal companion and a secure alternative to carrying cash. You can use this card across the widest and most diverse commercial networks worldwide, including hotels. It can be used throughout Iraq, in shopping centers, retail stores, restaurants, gas stations, and any other location.

Cash Withdrawals via ATMs: You can withdraw money from any ATM bearing the Visa logo, inside or outside Iraq, or from any authorized cash withdrawal agent of Switch.

Payments via POS Terminals: You can pay for your purchases while shopping worldwide through POS terminals inside and outside Iraq, including retail stores, hotels, restaurants, and gas stations equipped with POS devices.

Purchasing and Gifting E-Cards: You can buy and gift a variety of electronic cards directly from the Switch app, including gaming and e-shopping cards.

Online Shopping: You can shop online by paying for purchases via your card on any e-commerce website or mobile application that accepts Visa card payments.

Money Transfers: You can easily send and receive money from inside and outside Iraq using the MoneyGram service available in the app. You can also transfer and receive money securely between Switch cards.

E-Top-Up Card Purchase: You can purchase various electronic cards available in the Switch mobile app, including recharge cards, and top up balances safely, quickly, and at competitive prices.

Security: Aghati Visa is your ideal companion for daily transactions and travel. It eliminates the need to carry cash and protects against loss or theft. You can use the card safely, and if lost or stolen, it can be immediately blocked and replaced via:

Switch App: Log in, select the card to block, press “Block Card,” and enter the transaction code to confirm.

Customer Service Center: Call 6060 or +9647904100000, provide your details and card information to block it instantly. Customer service is available 24/7.

3D Secure Service: Online purchases are secured with a one-time secret code sent via SMS to your mobile phone.

User Guide

Bill Payments: Pay your bills quickly and securely directly via the app.

Card Information

Card Number: The 16-digit primary card number on the front of the card.

Expiry Date: Card expiration date, shown at the front below the card number.

CVC: Three-digit card identification code, on the back right of the card.

PIN: Used at ATMs and POS terminals for withdrawals and payments. Keep it private; do not share it with anyone.

Electronic Services

Switch App: Quickly check your account balance, transactions, transfer funds, pay bills, recharge phone and internet, locate nearest agents, and set transaction limits as per Central Bank instructions. Available for free on Play Store and App Store.

Mobile Alerts & Notifications: Receive instant notifications via SMS or the app. Activate international roaming to receive alerts when traveling.

Purchasing via POS: Present your card, enter the PIN when prompted, keep the receipt, and the amount will be deducted.

ATM Cash Withdrawal: Insert card, enter PIN, select amount, withdraw cash and card. Receive SMS confirmation.

Card Reloading: Reload at Switch agents across Iraq by providing the amount, phone number, and last 4 digits of the card.

Terms and Conditions for Prepaid Visa Cards
Important: Read these terms carefully before using your Agati Visa Card, issued by Iraq Electronic Gateway for Financial Services – Switch. By using or purchasing the card, you agree to these terms.

1. Aghati Card Information

One active card per person. Currency is Iraqi Dinar. Multi-currency options may be available.

Offers purchase, bill payments via POS, ATM withdrawals, transfers, and recharges.

2. Cardholder Information

Provide accurate personal information and documents (KYC).

You authorize Switch to share information with regulatory authorities, affiliates, and third parties, including advisors and marketing partners.

3. Loss, Theft, Damage, or Misuse

Immediately contact customer service 24/7 at +9647904100000 or block via Switch app.

4. Liability and Error Correction

Use must comply with Iraqi law. Card cannot be used for fraud, illegal purchases, or operations violating public order or laws.

Switch may monitor transactions and take actions as deemed appropriate.

Not responsible for failed transactions due to insufficient funds, system failure, or circumstances beyond control.

You agree to indemnify Switch for any claims due to negligence or fraudulent conduct.

5. Card Uses

Shopping worldwide, paying bills, transferring money, subscriptions, flight bookings, and other services with high security via PIN protection.

6. Validity

Valid until expiration date, unless blocked due to suspicious activity. Switch may cancel and freeze balance without prior notice.

7. Recharging

Add funds up to allowed limits via agent centers or transfers from another card.

8. Fees

Fees are deducted from card balance unless otherwise specified.

8.2 The company has the right to amend the above fees and specifications from time to time, provided that it publishes these amendments on its website and on the Switch application, and updates them at its agent centers and customer service offices.

9 - Transaction Responsibility
The cardholder is fully responsible for all transactions made on the card, including currency conversion fees or additional charges imposed by the merchant, as well as any transactions resulting from misuse of the card or failure to report its loss or theft.

10 - Cardholder Confidentiality and Disclosure to Third Parties
Subject to the provisions of paragraph 2.2 above, the company shall maintain the confidentiality of cardholder information and transactions. However, the company may disclose any card information or transactions to a third party as it deems appropriate, and as necessary to complete transactions, use third-party services, pursue legal claims, comply with legal orders or judgments, or follow instructions from the Central Bank of Iraq or Visa International in cases requiring notification or otherwise.

11 - Miscellaneous Provisions
11.1 All provisions and/or paragraphs contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be separate and independent from one another. If any provision is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, terms, or paragraphs.
11.2 The company may assign or transfer any or all of its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to a third party at its sole discretion.

12 - Dispute Resolution Responsibility and Applicable Law
If you dispute any transaction made on your Agati card, please contact the Customer Service Center directly or visit any of the company’s agents within the timeframe specified by applicable laws or regulations from the date of the transaction. The company is responsible for processing disputed transactions in compliance with the laws and instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and Visa International. Iraqi courts shall have jurisdiction to hear and adjudicate any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions.

13 - Customer Service Center
The company’s customer service center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to receive all inquiries and provide services related to the Agati card or its transactions at +9647904100000.
