Aghati Mastercard is a prepaid card issued through the Switch app. It operates on the global Mastercard network, enabling users to shop in stores and online wherever Mastercard is accepted, both within and outside Iraq. Customers can preload funds onto the card for purchases and withdraw cash from ATMs across Iraq. The card offers ease of use and tracking, allowing users to monitor expenses effortlessly. The Aghati Mastercard is your ideal companion and a secure alternative to carrying cash. You can use this card across the widest and most diverse merchant networks in the world, including hotels, and throughout Iraq in shopping centers, retail stores, restaurants, gas stations, and any other locations.
ATM Cash Withdrawals: You can withdraw money from any ATM bearing the Mastercard logo, inside or outside Iraq, or from any authorized cash withdrawal agent approved by Switch.
POS Payments: You can pay for your purchases while shopping worldwide using POS terminals available inside and outside Iraq, as well as in stores, hotels, restaurants, gas stations, and other locations equipped with POS devices.
Purchasing and Gifting E-Cards: You can buy and gift various e-cards directly from the Switch app, including gaming and online shopping cards.
Online Shopping: You can shop online and pay for purchases using your card on any e-commerce website or mobile application that accepts Mastercard online payments.
Money Transfers: You can easily send and receive money both within Iraq and internationally using the MoneyGram service available in the app. You can also transfer and receive funds quickly and securely between Switch cards.

Security: The Aghati Mastercard is your optimal companion for daily transactions and travel, reducing the need to carry cash and minimizing the risk of loss or theft. If your card is lost or stolen, you can immediately block and replace it via:
Switch App: Log in, select the card to block, click "Block Card," and enter the transaction PIN to confirm.
Customer Service Center: Call 6060 or +964790410000 and provide your card information to block it immediately. The service center is available 24/7.
3D Secure Service: Online purchases are secured with a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS to your mobile phone.
Card Information
Card Number: The 16-digit primary card number, displayed on the front.
Expiry Date: The card expiration date, displayed on the front below the card number.
CV2: The 3-digit card verification code on the back right side.
PIN: The personal identification number for ATMs and POS payments. Do not share it with merchants or anyone else.
Electronic Services
Switch App: Quickly and securely check your balance, monitor transactions, transfer money, pay bills, and top up phone or internet credit. Set transaction limits within the card’s allowed ceiling according to Central Bank regulations. The app is free from Play Store or App Store.
Mobile Alerts & Notifications: Receive instant SMS or app notifications about card activity. Activate international roaming to get notifications while traveling.
Online Purchase via POS Steps:
Present your card at the merchant’s payment point.
Merchant inserts the card and purchase amount in the POS terminal.
Enter your PIN to authorize the transaction.
Merchant returns the card with a receipt. Keep the receipt until the transaction appears on your statement.
Transaction completes, and the amount is deducted from your card account.
You receive an SMS with payment details and can also view them in the app.
ATM Cash Withdrawal Steps:
Insert the card into the ATM.
Enter your PIN.
Select the withdrawal amount.
Take your cash and card before leaving.
You will receive an SMS with transaction details, also viewable via the Switch app.
Card Top-Up:
You can reload your card through Switch agents across Iraq.
Give the agent the amount to load, your phone number, and the last 4 digits of your card.
A confirmation SMS will be sent.
Review all transactions in the app.
To dispute a transaction, visit a Switch agent or the website and fill out the dispute form.
Prepaid Mastercard Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms carefully before using your Aghati Mastercard, issued by Switch. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") represent the agreement between Switch (the "Company") based in Baghdad – Al-Jadriya – University District, licensed by the Central Bank of Iraq (License No. 4) and you, the cardholder ("You"). Aghati Mastercard is a prepaid card ("Aghati Card") and must be safeguarded against loss, theft, or illegal use. By obtaining or using the card, you accept these Terms.
1. Aghati Card Information
1.1. You may not hold more than one active card.
1.2. The currency of Aghati Card is Iraqi Dinar. The card may be multi-currency if the Company allows.
1.3. Services include purchases, bill payments via POS, ATM withdrawals, transfers to/from the card, and top-ups.
2. Cardholder Information
2.1. You must provide accurate personal information and documents, including the "Know Your Customer" form.
2.2. You irrevocably authorize the Company to disclose your information to regulatory authorities, affiliates, advisors, third parties, and marketing partners as needed.
3. Loss, Theft, Damage, or Misuse
3.1. If your Aghati Card is lost, stolen, damaged, or misused, immediately contact customer service (+964790410000) or block the card via Switch app.
4. Responsibility and Error Correction
4.1. You acknowledge that card usage must comply with Iraqi law, Central Bank regulations, and Mastercard rules. Fraudulent or illegal use is prohibited. The Company may monitor card transactions and take action as deemed necessary. You bear financial and legal responsibility for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions.
4.2. The Company is not liable for failed transactions due to insufficient funds, system errors, or circumstances beyond its control.
4.3. To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify the Company against any direct or indirect claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach or negligence.
4.4. The Company is not responsible for losses caused by force majeure events, government negligence, strikes, natural disasters, or third-party errors.
5. Card Usage
Aghati Card can be used for shopping, bill payments, money transfers, subscriptions, flight bookings, and other services locally or abroad, providing high security with your PIN to reduce fraud or hacking risks.
6. Validity
The card is valid until the printed expiration date unless deactivated due to suspicious activity. The Company may cancel the card and freeze its balance without prior notice, following Central Bank and Mastercard rules.
7. Reloading
Reloading means depositing additional amounts on the card up to the allowed limit. Reloading can be done via Switch agents or transfers from another card.
8.1 Fees
The Company will calculate and deduct applicable fees from your card balance unless otherwise specified.

8.2 – Amendments to Fees and Limits
The Company has the right to amend the above fees and limits from time to time. These amendments will be published on the Company’s website and the Switch app, and updated at agent centers and the customer service points.
9 – Responsibility for Transactions
The cardholder is fully responsible for all transactions conducted using the card, including currency conversion amounts or additional fees charged by merchants, as well as transactions resulting from misuse of the card or failure to report its loss or theft.
10 – Cardholder Information Confidentiality and Disclosure to Third Parties
Subject to the provisions of Section 2.2 above, the Company is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the cardholder’s information and card transactions. However, the Company has the right to disclose any card information or transactions to a third party to the extent it deems appropriate, and as necessary to complete transactions, benefit from third-party services, pursue legal claims, comply with legal orders or rulings, or in accordance with the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq or Mastercard in cases requiring reporting or other obligations.
11 – Miscellaneous Provisions
11.1 All terms and/or clauses contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be separate and independent from each other. If any provision is deemed invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, such invalidity shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
11.2 The Company may assign or transfer any or all of its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to a third party as it deems appropriate.
12 – Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law
If you dispute any transaction made with the Aghati Card, please contact the Customer Service Center directly or visit any of the Company’s agents within the timeframe specified by applicable laws or regulations from the date of the transaction. The Company is responsible for handling disputed transactions in compliance with the laws and instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and Mastercard. The jurisdiction for disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be with the Iraqi courts.
13 – Customer Service Center

8.2 The company reserves the right to amend the above fees and specifications from time to time, provided that it publishes such amendments on its website and on the Switch application, and updates them at its agent centers and customer service offices.
9. Liability for Transactions
The cardholder is fully responsible for all transactions made on the card, including currency conversion fees or additional charges imposed by the merchant, and transactions resulting from misuse of the card or failure to report its loss or theft.
10. Confidentiality of Cardholder Information and Disclosure to Third Parties
Subject to the provisions of paragraph 2.2 above, the company is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the cardholder's information and transactions made on the card. However, the company reserves the right to disclose any card information or transactions to a third party as it deems appropriate and as necessary to complete transactions, utilize the third party's services, pursue legal cases, comply with legal orders or judgments, or comply with the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq or Mastercard International in cases where notification or other requirements are necessary.
11. Miscellaneous Provisions
11.1 All provisions and/or clauses contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be separate and independent from one another. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of the remaining provisions, terms, or clauses herein.
11.2 The Company may assign or transfer any or all of its rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to a third party as the Company deems appropriate.
12. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law
If you dispute any transaction made on your Aghati card, please contact the Customer Service Center directly or visit any of the Company's agents within the timeframe specified by applicable laws or regulations from the date of the transaction. The Company shall be responsible for processing disputed transactions in compliance with the laws and instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq and Mastercard International in this regard. The Iraqi courts shall have jurisdiction to hear and adjudicate any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions.
